Abena Exclusive welcomes fresh voices from Ghana and Africa. Writing for us lets you reach our audience of young professionals and readers. It’s a chance to share your expertise and promote important ideas.

What We Publish

We accept original articles on entertainment, lifestyle, technology, education, and cultural topics. Examples: personal essays, how-to guides, interviews, tech trends, or cultural stories. Articles must be clear and relevant. We do not accept plagiarism, spam, or offensive content.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submit unpublished, original work (800+ words recommended).

  • Write a descriptive headline and include a short author bio.

  • Provide images (with credits) if needed (see Image Policy).

  • Email your article or pitch to editor@abenaxclusive.com with subject “Submission: [Your Title]” or “Pitch: [Your Topic]”.

  • Include your contact info.

Editorial Standards

Our team reviews submissions for accuracy, clarity, and style. We value:

  • Accuracy: Facts should be correct; cite sources if needed.

  • Originality: Content must be unique, not copied.

  • Clarity: Use simple language and short paragraphs.

  • Respect: Avoid hate, abuse, or illegal content.

We may edit your piece for clarity or length and maintain final approval of published content.

Image Policy

Use your own or licensed images. Cite the source or photographer. Free stock sites (Unsplash, Pexels) are fine. Do not use copyrighted images without permission. Recommended format: JPEG or PNG, optimized for web.

Compensation & Rights

Abena Exclusive does not pay for contributions at this time. We credit your work and link to your bio or website. You retain ownership of your article. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to publish it on our site. You may republish your work elsewhere after 30 days with attribution.

How to Pitch

Send a brief email to editor@abenaxclusive.com with:

  • Proposed title, idea, and why it matters to our readers.

  • A short outline or key points.

  • Any relevant background or experience (if applicable).

We will review your pitch and respond with feedback or acceptance.

Response Time

We respond within 7–10 business days. If you don’t hear back in two weeks, feel free to follow up.
